Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Pick-up will be from Nairobi hotels or JKIA Airport by 0730hrs, followed by transfer to Nairobi CBD for the central departure point for all group-joining safari clients. Departure will be between 0750hrs and 0820hrs after a short safari briefing by the guide.

Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for photography before proceeding to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at the camp in time for check-in and lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking wildlife of Maasai Mara as you explore one of Africa’s most renowned safari destinations, home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, and a wide variety of other wildlife species offering excellent wildlife viewing and photography opportunities, especially during the cooler evening hours

Afterwards return to the camp for dinner served between 1900hrs and 2100hrs as you wait for the next day adventure.

Full Day Game Drive - Maasai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast will be served from 0600hrs to 0730hrs before departing for a full-day game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve from 0900hrs to 1830hrs.

Spend the day exploring Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve in search of Africa’s Big Five, including lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and Cape buffaloes. Maasai Mara is also home to a wide variety of wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, topis, hippos, warthogs, baboons, spotted hyenas, grey jackals, and bat-eared foxes. Lions are commonly seen resting after a hunt, while cheetahs and leopard regularly spotted within the reserve.

The reserve is equally a paradise for bird lovers, with over 470 bird species including ostriches, secretary birds, grey crowned cranes, pelicans, herons, turacos, white-backed vultures, storks, hammerkops, and hornbills.

Packed lunch boxes will be provided by hotel during the game drive. Later in the evening, return to the camp for relaxation and dinner served from 1900hrs and 2100hrs.

Depart Masai Mara to Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning breakfast served between 0700hrs and 0830hrs. Thereafter, from 0900hrs to 1000hrs, visit a traditional Maasai village for a cultural experience and learn more about the unique lifestyle, traditions, dances, and beadwork of the Maasai community. This optional excursion is available at an extra cost of USD 20 per person.

Later, depart for Nairobi with a stopover at Narok town for lunch. Expected arrival in Nairobi will be around 1600hrs. This marks the end of your unforgettable 3-day Maasai Mara Safari, with drop-off at your hotel or JKIA Airport.
