Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You have a pick up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve by road. You enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the viewpoint for breathtaking views and photography before proceeding to the Masai Mara.

You arrive at your camp or lodge in the afternoon and enjoy a late lunch. You'll spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at the property and taking in the beautiful surroundings.

In the evening, you will head out for a visit to a traditional Maasai Village, where you will experience the rich culture and traditions of the Maasai people. You'll learn about their way of life, admire their traditional dances, and interact with members of the community.

After the cultural visit, you'll return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay as you prepare for an exciting game drive adventure the following day.

After an early breakfast at the camp, you check out and depart Masai Mara National Reserve for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with beautiful views of the escarpments and surrounding countryside.

You arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its rich birdlife and diverse wildlife. The park is one of the best places in Kenya to spot both black and white rhinos, as well as Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and, if lucky, lions and leopards.

After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will depart from Lake Nakuru and enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley towards Lake Naivasha.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy an optional relaxing boat ride on the freshwater lake, where you may spot hippos resting in the water and a variety of bird species along the shores.

You can also enjoy an optional guided walking safari at Crescent Island, offering close encounters with giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife in a peaceful natural setting.

After lunch, you continue with a picturesque drive south towards Amboseli National Park, arriving in the evening with breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear weather days.

After an early breakfast, you'll have a morning game drive. It will be the perfect time for photographing the humbling and magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.

You will also visit the lookout observation hill.

The rest of the day will be spent exploring the park with chances of seeing herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and different species of birds.

You will have lunch at the lodge or a picnic lunch in the park, depending on what you discuss with your guide.
