Day 1

We will pick you up from your hotel or the airport. On the first day, we will depart at 6:30 am and travel from Arusha to. Tarangire, which is a 2-hour drive across 150 km. We will go on a 6-hour game drive today inside the park, and we will serve you hot lunch inside the park. This national park is known as a birding destination and also features large numbers of elephants. During the dry season, the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area. The landscape is of particular interest too, due to the high number of baobab trees in the area. It is also known as a wonderful birding destination and features a large number of game drives. Accommodation today will be at Fig Tree Lodge.

Day 2

Wake up, and prepare to depart at 6:30 am. We drive from Tarangire to Serengeti, which is a 4-hour drive across 231 km. After we arrive, we will go on a 6-hour game drive and have a hot lunch inside the park. Dinner and overnight will be at the accommodation.

Serengeti National Park is an absolute must-see. Covering a vast area in northwestern Tanzania, with over 70 mammals, including huge populations of lion and other predators as well as over 500 bird species - this is wildlife viewing paradise. Beyond the incredible Great Migration that moves through the area seasonally, the spectacular river crossings mostly occur at specific times, but the entire process remains unpredictable, depending on when and where the rains fall. This is truly an incredibly beautiful park with diverse flora and fauna.

Day 3

We depart on a 6-hour game drive at 6:30 am. We will have lunch inside the park. Serengeti is one of the best areas to see the animals of the Great Migration, but also to see the huge herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle arriving to calve, and then at the beginning of the dry season making their way northwards again in search of green grass. The Southern Serengeti is one of the places where you can see the full circle of the Great Migration. Dinner and overnight will be at the campsite.

Day 4

Today we depart at 6:30 am and drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro, which is roughly a 3-hour drive. After arriving at the Ngorongoro Crater, embark on a game drive that will last 6 hours. We will have lunch inside the park.
The Ngorongoro Crater, a caldera or collapsed volcano, while only covering 260 km², includes a diverse range of habitats including montane forest, grasslands, acacia forests, a salt-lake, and swamps. Due to the diversity of the habitats on the crater floor and sides, an incredible number of different birds and animals, including the Big Five, call Ngorongoro Crater home and provide visitors with spectacular game viewing in gorgeous surroundings. Within the Ngorongoro Crater, there is a huge concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. Hippo, crocodile, zebra, a wide range of antelope, and plains game live here, too.
Dinner and overnight will be at Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel.

Day 5

Today, we depart from Arusha to Kilimanjaro at 7:30 am, which is a little less than a 2-hour drive. During the drive, first, you will visit the (Materun) waterfalls. On the way, your guide will inform you about the culture of Chagga life and explain the surrounding fauna and flora. You will do some cultural activities including a coffee plantation visit. Here you will learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted, and processed hiking around the waterfalls and you will also listen to a variety of traditional songs as they show you how to make coffee also during the afternoon you will be able to taste soup made from bananas. Materuni is the home of the Chagga tribe and still a village in this charming place which lies at the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro. We will have a local lunch here. After the tour ends, you will be dropped off at the airport, or at your hotel so we can transfer you to the airport on the next day.
