Early in the morning after breakfast, you will drive straight to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will explore the vast Serengeti with its endless plains looking for the big cats. The Serengeti hosts the largest mammal migration in the world and is a popular destination for African safaris. The Serengeti is the most famous for its annual migration. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebra flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November. They then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge, or crocodile-infested river can hold them back. After lunch and another game drive, you will drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Home to an estimated 25,000 large mammals, the crater provides some of the finest wildlife viewing in Tanzania. Within moments, we’re likely to encounter wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and many of the over 500 bird species that inhabit the area. With some luck, we might even spot the rare and elusive black rhino moving quietly through the grasslands.
