On this day, your safari adventure begins as our guide picks you up from Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport and drives you to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive with a picnic lunch. Known for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and the Tarangire River—the park’s vital water source during the dry season—Tarangire offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. You may also spot rare tree-climbing African pythons and a variety of other animals. After the game drive, continue to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at a comfortable lodge.

Day 2
Karatu – Serengeti National Park
Karatu – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Karatu and drive you toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, offering stunning views along the way. Upon reaching the entrance to the Serengeti, you’ll begin your first game drive across its vast plains, teeming with wildlife. In the evening, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Located in northern Tanzania, Serengeti National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering approximately 15,000 square kilometers. It is home to over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and around 500 bird species. During the dry season, the park hosts the dramatic Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. Beyond the migration, the park—especially the northern region—offers excellent year-round wildlife viewing, with resident species including elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, lions, and the rare oribi antelope.

Day 3

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up for a morning game drive in Central Serengeti, enjoying a picnic lunch in the bush. Today’s drive focuses on exploring areas you may have missed the previous day, offering chances to see lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, and other wildlife. In the late afternoon, you will return to your lodge accommodation located inside Central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay. The Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, covers about 15,000 sq km and is home to over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and 500 bird species. The park hosts the Great Migration during the dry season and supports diverse resident wildlife year-round.

Day 4

After breakfast, you will drive to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater and descend into this incredible natural wonder for a full-day game drive. Inside the crater, you’ll encounter a rich variety of wildlife, including lions, buffalo, zebras, hyenas, and antelopes. With some luck, you may also spot the rare black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the scenic crater lake as you take in the breathtaking surroundings.
The Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera, was formed 2 to 3 million years ago. Its floor sits at approximately 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level and supports around 30,000 animals alongside a diverse array of bird species. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to Arusha, marking the end of your safari, or to the airport for your onward journey.
