Travel to Murchison Falls National Park and a boat ride to the bottom of the falls

The driver guide will pick you up from Entebbe Airport, a hotel in Kampala, or any other agreed-upon meeting point in the morning. Immediately start the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. It is a 4 to 5-hour drive through the countryside of Uganda, full of stunning landscapes. Arrive in the afternoon for lunch and then embark on a boat ride to the bottom of the falls.

The incredible ride gives you beautiful landscape views and numerous wildlife species, such as hippos, crocodiles, seabirds, and animals that come along the riverbanks to drink. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Morning game drive and departure

In the early morning, have breakfast and go for a game drive through Murchison Falls National Park. The park offers one of the best game drive experiences in Uganda. Driving through the expansive landscape guarantees sights of lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, hyenas, oribis, giraffes and many others.

The drive takes about 3 to 4 hours. Return to the lodge for check-out and drive to the waterfalls if you didn't visit them the previous day. Have lunch en route, continue to Kampala, and arrive at Entebbe Airport for drop-off. That will be the end of your 2-day Murchison Falls National Park safari.
