Dar Es Salaaam – Gombe National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to Kigoma.

On arrival, you will be transferred to Ujiji village where you will visit Dr. Livingstone's memorial center to get the history of the slave trade and the journeys and missionary activities of Dr. David Livingstone.
Then you will be transferred to Kibirizi port for your boat to Gombe National Park where on arrival, you will be transferred to the rest house for hot lunch before starting your Chimpanzee Trek Tour.

Gombe Stream

On 08h30, Start Chimpanzee tracking in the forest, Gombe became well known for the conservation project started by Jane Goodall, who first arrived in Gombe in 1960. Apart from chimpanzee viewing, many other species of primates live in Gombe Stream’s tropical forests, like velvet, Colobus monkeys, and baboons, Climb to Jane’s peak and visit Kakombe waterfalls if time allows.

Morning Walk - Kigoma

After breakfast, start chimpanzee trekking in different valleys, do walking in the forest, and visit Mkenge waterfall. At 12h00 you will be back for lunch. You can pack and transfer back to Kigoma town in the evening time for dinner & Overnight.
