Your Gosheni team will welcome you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and help you connect with your guide and transfer. Enjoy refreshments before travelling to Four Points by Sheraton Arusha Hotel for dinner and your overnight stay. Once you have settled in, we will talk through the journey and answer your questions. Today is for arriving and resting after your flight, so you can begin tomorrow's safari feeling comfortable and prepared.

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast and a safari briefing, travel to Tarangire National Park with your private guide. Explore baobab country and woodland, watching for elephants, giraffes and other wildlife along the route. Your guide will help you understand what you see, from feeding behaviour to tracks beside the road. Pause for a hot lunch with soup, bread rolls, a main course and fruit, followed by tea or coffee and a glass of wine. Continue game viewing as time allows before dinner and your overnight stay at Serian Tarangire Camp.

Travel to Lake Manyara National Park after breakfast for a game drive through a different mix of habitats. Look for baboons in the woodland, elephants and birdlife along the lakeshore, with your guide explaining the changes in the landscape. Enjoy a hot lunch during the day and continue exploring as the schedule allows. Later, settle into Escarpment Luxury Lodge Manyara for dinner and your overnight stay. Tree-climbing lions are a possible sighting, though their presence along your route cannot be promised.

After breakfast, leave the Manyara area and travel towards Ndutu. Game viewing begins as you reach the wildlife areas, with time to explore according to road conditions and the journey's progress. Look for wildebeest and zebra on the short-grass plains and predators following the herds. Enjoy your hot lunch during the day before continuing to Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Herd locations and calving activity vary with the season, so your guide will plan around current conditions.

Calving season can bring encounters with young wildebeest and predators, but births and hunts are natural events that cannot be scheduled. Your guide will help you understand the behaviour and relationships you observe. Pause for a hot lunch, then continue your game drive. Finish with a sundowner picnic with drinks and snacks before returning to Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Dinner and your overnight stay are here, with two nights at the lodge giving you time to enjoy this part of the park.

Ngorongoro Crater - Departure

After an early breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. Explore the grasslands and wetland areas with your guide, looking for buffalo, zebra, hippos and predators. A black rhino sighting is possible, though never guaranteed. Enjoy your hot lunch and continue within the permitted crater visiting hours before ascending and driving back towards Arusha for your airport transfer.
