Serengeti National Park
In the morning, you will start on your beautiful journey to the most famous national park in the world, the Serengeti. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress, you will see why they call it the Serengeti, which means "endless plains" in the local language. The park has 6,900 sq miles (18,000 sq km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon, defying your senses and perception of distance.
It is home to the great migration of over 2 million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebra, and all kinds of antelopes. As for the big cats and large predators, it is the ideal place to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Many television scenes, including the famous river crossings, have been filmed in this park.
After the game drive, you will drive to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
On this day we suggest a very early wake-up because you will begin your journey exiting Serengeti heading to Ngorongoro Crater, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. You will descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25,000, the crater offers the best game viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. In a matter of minutes, you will be able to see wildebeest, eland, lions, zebras, gazelles, elephants, blue monkeys, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. With a little bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino.
After the game drive you will have a picnic lunch near the beautiful hippo lake. After lunch, you will proceed with a short game drive and then ascend the crater and exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area heading back to Arusha.
