At exactly 04:00 AM, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali, then give a short briefing before driving to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze, straight to the park headquarters for registration and another briefing. The trek involves a 30-minute drive from the park headquarters to the trail, where you will walk to the park boundary and start your adventure. After this fantastic trip to the gorillas, Lunch, then drive back to Karisoke research center in Musanze city, where you will find historical information about the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. After the journey, drive back to Kigali.
On our way back to Kigali, we drive through a picturesque countryside, meet amazing people, and connect with its beauty.
