Nairobi - Masai Mara

Your group joining safari will start with a pick-up from your hotel. You will drive west to the Masai Mara National Reserve, with lunch en route, arriving in time for the evening game drive. The Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August, and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year-round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the game reserve's dispersal area. Later, you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in tents larger than 3x3 m with verandas and bathrooms, sleeping on normal beds.

Morning and Evening Game Viewing

After breakfast, we will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya, as it has an extensive road and track network, which allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, keeping an eye out for hippos and crocodiles. Return for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara - Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and proceed with the final game drive in the reserve before departing for Nairobi. Track the big cats returning from the hunt of nocturnal animals. Enjoy their hunting skills while the prey is grazing in open savannah grassland. Witness the sunset and take great photos with the sun and wild animals. Return with enchanting memories of a Kenya budget safari. A stopover for lunch followed by a drop-off in Nairobi or at the airport.
