On this 6-day Kenya budget safari, we will pick you up from your hotel and start our journey to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will pass the spectacular Rift Valley Escarpment, which provides a scenic view for beautiful photo opportunities. You will proceed to Narok town for a final shopping trip after we head to the Masai Mara National Reserve. We will check into the tour camp for lunch before starting the adventure with a sundowner game drive, introducing you to the Maasai plains and its residents. Later, we will return to our camp for dinner and overnight.

Your full day in Masai Mara National Reserve starts with breakfast and proceeds on a full day of game-viewing adventure. This reserve offers a varied wildlife experience, from the large numbers of wildlife to the scenic and stunning savannah Maasai plains and Maasai culture experience. Traversing the Masai Mara for a full-day game drive, you will see the Big Five, prides of lions, elephant herds, rhinoceros, giraffes and so much more.

In this reserve, you are assured of close encounters with the wildlife. The wildebeest migration is one of the world’s annual spectacular events in the Masai Mara. You will have your picnic lunch in the park and continue with your game viewing with more of the Big Five and the lesser-known game encounters till sunset. You have an optional activity of visiting a Maasai village at an extra cost of 10$ per person. Dinner and overnight will be at your camp.

The day is scheduled for an early breakfast and an optional Maasai village visit for cultural tourism practices such as traditional songs, dances, jumping and other entertainment. Later, depart for Lake Nakuru in time for an optional city tour in Nakuru as you wait for dinner and overnight in the budget hotel.

After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its birdlife, especially flamingos. This wildlife park also is a sanctuary for the endangered white and black rhinos. Here, you can find tree-climbing lions, buffalos, and zebras around the shorelines. Later, you will exit the park and start your journey to Amboseli National Park, with a hot lunch on the way.

There will be a stop on the escarpment as you make your way to Nairobi. You'll arrive in Amboseli in the evening, where you can check into your camp and rest before dinner.

Extensive Full-Day Game Drive in Amboseli National Park

A magical Kenya holiday safari experience awaits you on a full day of game drives. This wildlife park will showcase the large numbers of wildlife easily found bathing in the swamps found here. Amboseli National Park gives a beautiful safari experience and breathtaking scenery as you watch elephants and buffalos roam at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Apart from elephants, you will also encounter cheetahs, zebras, hyenas, and many others.

You will have a picnic lunch in the shade and continue with the afternoon game viewing. When the clouds clear off in the evening, you can see the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later, you will head back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

On a beautiful morning, start the day with an early morning game viewing and then return to the camp for a hot breakfast. Later, we will drive back to Nairobi, or you can decide to proceed to Mombasa for a beach holiday by road. We will drop you off at Emali to board a bus to Mombasa, or at the airport for your connecting flight to Mombasa.

This marks the end of your 6-day Kenya budget safari.
