After an early breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your lodge and begin the scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Katuna border. You will make a brief stop for passport clearance and vehicle checks before continuing through the picturesque countryside, with opportunities for photo stops along the way.

Upon arrival near the Rushaga sector, you will check in at Heart to Heart School, a community-based charity school supported by Musana Tours. Here, you will enjoy a unique and meaningful stay, dining with the children, experiencing the daily life of a local school, and engaging with the community.

Wake up the next morning to the joyful arrival of the children before heading out for your gorilla trekking experience. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay, immersed in both nature and community, as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at your lodge before heading to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. Enter the forest with your ranger guide in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once found, spend one unforgettable hour observing and photographing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to receive your gorilla tracking certificate.

In the afternoon, transfer to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will camp at Seeds of Hope School, a charity initiative supporting Batwa children. Enjoy cultural entertainment, interact with the community, and learn about the school’s progress before dinner and overnight stay.

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast before setting out with your guide to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a morning game drive. After entering the park, begin your safari across the savannah, where you can expect to spot a variety of wildlife, including Uganda kobs, lions, elephants, leopards, and buffaloes, among others.

After the game drive, proceed to Katunguru for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, head to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise. This experience offers incredible views of animals gathering along the water’s edge, including hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species as they drink and bathe.

After approximately two hours on the water, proceed to the Kasenyi plains for a sundown game drive, watch out for late evening grazers, and a chance to spot nocturnal animals.

After an early breakfast, we will check in at the park. Our accommodation, located just a few meters from the park, offers breathtaking views of the expansive landscape. Lake Mburo is an ideal destination for a walking safari, where you'll have the chance to get up close with the wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, and the majestic elands, Africa's largest antelope, found only in Lake Mburo and Kidepo Valley National Park. During your walk, you'll be able to capture stunning photos as you interact with these incredible grazers.

In the evening, return to the park for an evening game drive, and look out for what you may have missed in the morning. Evenings are perfect for spotting wildlife as they are more active when the sun is not too hot.
