Day 1

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your driver-guide will collect you from your hotel and drive you to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Known for its open plains, baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and large elephant herds, the park is sometimes called the “Small Serengeti.”

The Tarangire River provides a vital dry-season water source, attracting buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, impalas, gazelles, warthogs, and occasionally African wild dogs. Rare species include greater kudu, fringe-eared oryx, and Ashy starling. With over 400 bird species, Tarangire is also ideal for birdwatching.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site before continuing your game drive until late afternoon. Proceed to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Serengeti National park

Serengeti National park

After breakfast, we depart for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we descend into the plains, we enter the legendary Serengeti, where vast grasslands stretch endlessly across the horizon.

We continue to the central Serengeti and the Seronera region, one of the park’s most renowned wildlife areas. The Seronera River provides a reliable water source, attracting a diverse range of wildlife and creating excellent opportunities for game viewing.

We arrive in time for lunch before heading out on an exciting afternoon game drive to explore the Serengeti’s spectacular landscapes and abundant wildlife. After the game drive, we return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 3

Non-game-viewing travel time: 4 hours

After breakfast, we depart Tarangire National Park and drive toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will not enter the Ngorongoro Crater on this day. Along the way, we’ll stop for a picnic lunch before continuing into the legendary Serengeti, where vast plains stretch endlessly across the horizon.

We proceed to the central Serengeti, known as the Seronera region, one of the park’s richest wildlife areas. The Seronera River provides a vital water source, attracting a wide variety of wildlife throughout the year.

Upon arrival, we enjoy an afternoon game drive, exploring the spectacular landscapes and searching for the Serengeti’s abundant wildlife. In the evening, we head to Tumbili Public Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, we drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend more than 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. With permanent water sources and fertile grasslands, the crater supports an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and elephants.

The crater is also renowned for its abundant predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. During the game drive, we’ll visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the crater’s southwestern area, where flamingos, hippos, and numerous waterbirds can often be seen.

After a picnic lunch, we ascend from the crater and begin our journey back to Arusha or the airport, marking the end of your safari adventure.
