You will be warmly welcomed by a dedicated driver-guide who will provide a quick briefing. Then, you will begin your journey to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest savannah national park in Uganda. It is located in the west and is closest to the capital city compared to other national parks. The park is dotted with various lakes, the largest of which is Lake Mburo, from which the park gets its name.
The lakes offer an excellent boat cruise experience where you can see crocodiles, hippos and other animals roaming along the shores of Lake Mburo.
You will stop at the Equator for lunch and pictures then procced to the park.

Day 2
Game drive and boat
Game drive and boat
Start your day with an early game drive through the park. A park ranger will guide you to the best spots for viewing savannah animals such as impalas, bushbucks, elands, hyenas, buffalo, leopards, jackals, and zebras, as well as various birds like ibises. The game drive lasts about 2-3 hours, after which you will return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time.
Later, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along Lake Mburo, where you can spot different animals, including crocodiles and hippos. This cruise takes approximately 2 hours. After the boat ride, you will head back to the lodge for dinner.

Day 3
Transfer To Bwindi National park
Transfer To Bwindi National park
Start your day with an early breakfast before checking out of the lodge. You will then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, stopping at Lake Bunyonyi along the way. Lake Bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Africa, following Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania. Here, you will enjoy a boat cruise, which is the main highlight of this stop. During the cruise, you will visit several historical islands, including Leprosy Island (also known as Sharp Island), which was historically used to quarantine locals suffering from leprosy, and Punishment Island, a small island where girls who became pregnant before marriage were sent as a form of punishment.
After your boat cruise, you will have lunch at one of the resorts on Lake Bunyonyi before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is renowned for having the highest population of mountain gorillas in the world, giving you a 99% chance of seeing these magnificent creatures during your safari.

Day 4

Wake up early morning for Breakfast depending on the distance of your lodge to the starting point. Drive to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by the Park rangers and allocated a gorilla family to track.
This will be a once in a lifetime experience as you watch the mountain gorillas live their daily life of feeding, playing around and Grooming themselves. The gorilla trekking activity takes 2 to 8 hours sparing one hour spent with the mountain gorillas.
After your gorilla Excursion, you can visit the Batwa People (keepers of the Forest) for a cultural tour on how these people lived in the forest before it was reserved as a national park.

Day 5
Queen Elizabeth National park

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda's most famous national parks. The park is known for its rare tree-climbing lions. It is home to a variety of unique wildlife species that can be seen throughout its premises, as well as around the crater lakes and the impressive Kazinga Channel.
As you head to the lodge for relaxation and lunch, keep an eye out for the rare tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. After lunch, enjoy a cruise along the scenic Kazinga Channel, where you can spot various aquatic animals and bird species, such as crocodiles and hippos. This cruise typically lasts about 2 to 3 hours.

Day 6

Arise up early with a cup of coffee and drive off for your safari game drive in the Plains of Kasenyi with chances of spotting a lot of wildlife like elephants, kobs, Lions, leopards among others.
Next, you will transfer to Kibale National Park, known as the world capital of primates, where you can find 13 recognized species, including chimpanzees, our closest cousins. Located in western Uganda, the journey will be delightful as you pass by beautiful crater lakes, tea plantations and expansive banana farms.
We will stop at the Isunga community near Kibale National Park, where you will experience the African way of life through traditional dances and music performed by the Batooro and Bakiga people in the area. After your visit, you will head to the lodge for dinner.

Day 7

After breakfast, head out for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park. This adventure begins with a briefing. With the assistance of a park ranger guide, you will navigate the forest in search of these primates in their natural habitat. You can observe their behaviors, such as feeding, grooming and playing.
Later, return to the lodge to check out and then transfer to Kampala, stopping for lunch in Mubende along the way. Continue your journey to Kampala/Entebbe, as you say fare well to the pearl of Africa!
