Arrival and Transfer to Hwange NP - Stay at Khulu Bush Camp

Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport or be ready for a pick-up from your hotel in and around Victoria Falls for a transfer to Hwange National Park. The 180km drive to the lodge will take at most 2.5 hours. You will check in on arrival. Depending on your arrival time, you can either do an afternoon game drive or relax in your room and watch the wildlife at the waterhole. Dinner will be served at 7 pm.

Game Drives, Game Viewing and Game Walks

A wonderful way to start the day is to have a cup of tea on your veranda and watch the sunrise. A continental breakfast will be served before it is time to leave for your activity. Our activities are very fluid and consist of a mix of game drives, walks and spending time at waterholes. It could start as a drive from camp but rapidly change to a walk as some tracks of a herd of buffalos or the resident pride of lions are spotted. Being on foot with any of these animals is very exciting and a great experience. Whatever you see, your guide will be a fountain of information and make the outdoors come alive with his explanations and interpretations of the environment.

Check Out and Departure

You will do a morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and prepare to check out at 10:00 am (latest), depending on your pick-up time. Proceed on the transfer to your next hotel or lodge to continue with your vacation, or be dropped off at the airport to travel to your next destination.
