Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. You can relax and enjoy the African atmosphere. If you arrive early, we can arrange a city tour of Arusha. Tomorrow morning, your safari will begin!

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from your Arusha hotel at 08:00 and make your way to Tarangire National Park (approximately a 1.5-hour journey). Upon arrival, you will go directly on a game drive. Tarangire is famous for its big elephant herds and giraffes. After your drive, you will make your way to the lodge for your overnight.

Ngorongoro Ndutu Area

After breakfast, you will depart with a picnic lunch in hand towards the Ngorongoro Ndutu area. Upon your arrival at the NCAA gate, you will complete the park formalities and fees before making your way to your game drive in the Ngorongoro Ndutu area. During this season, you will be able to see the hundreds of thousands of wildebeest calves.

Ngorongoro Ndutu Area

After your breakfast, you will continue with your game drive in this area to experience the amazing calving season, where hundreds of thousands of calves are being born after the short rain that makes new sprouts of grass for the calves. This season has a remarkable rhythm that makes a very good sound, which we call the sound of nature from wildebeest.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephant. Another big drawcard of this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, one of the crater's main features. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds can usually be seen here. Take a late-afternoon transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight, or airport drop-off.
