Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to the Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel situated on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Settle into your accommodation and get ready to start your safari in the morning.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we will pick you up and proceed to Tarangire National Park. It is one of the largest national parks in Tanzania and is located in the Manyara region. The place is characterized by the large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees - also called the "tree of life" for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it. This park is especially well known for the Tarangire River which flows all year round and the only source of water for wild animals.

In the evening, you will exit the park and drive to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park via the crater and Ngorongoro

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park via the crater and Ngorongoro

In the early morning, go on an en-route game drive to Serengeti with lunch inside the Jeep. On the way, you will see the beautiful Rift Valley and have a view of the Ngorongoro Crater. You will arrive at around 15h00. Enjoy a late game drive in Central Serengeti and view the sunset. You will have dinner and overnight at the Seronera campsite inside Serengeti.

Major attractions in Serengeti are the endless plains and the great wildebeest migration which involves 1.5 million herbivores and predators. They move from one area to another through almost all parts of the Serengeti because of drought. Our driver guide will make sure that you see a part of the wildebeest migration, the movement of vast numbers of the Serengeti’s wildebeest accompanied by large numbers of zebra and smaller numbers of Grant’s gazelle, Thomson’s gazelle, eland, and impala. After a late game drive, you will drive back to your campsite.

Day 4

You will wake up early, have a full breakfast, and then start a full-day game drive in the key areas of Serengeti. We will make sure that you follow the wildebeest migration during your tour with us. The great migration varies every year. The best chance of seeing it is from June to September, while the wildebeest calving is from January to March. From July to September, our driver will take you to Northern Serengeti where you'll be able to see them crossing the Mara River.

A million and a half of these majestic animals travel throughout the year as they look for fresh grazing pasture and follow the rainfall for better water sources. After your full-day game drive, you head back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight in your campsite.

Day 5

You will wake up at 05h45 for an early breakfast and see the sunrise inside the Serengeti. After breakfast, you will do an early game drive in Central Serengeti. At 11h30, you head back to the campsite for a hot lunch and pack your belongings. You will then proceed with a game drive in Serengeti while heading to the campsite in Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight, ready for the crater tour tomorrow.

Day 6

Six to seven hours game drive in the crater then head to Lake Manyara

Six to seven hours game drive in the crater then head to Lake Manyara

You will wake up at around 05h30 for breakfast. You then descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor where you will see all of the Big Five as well as different species of birds. The crater is also home to the black rhino. You will have lunch inside the crater while watching nature and the high concentrations of flamingos.

After the 6- to 7-hour game drive inside the crater, you will ascend from the crater and pass through the campsite to pack your luggage into the Jeep. Drive back to Fanaka Lodge for dinner and overnight. You will have a walking tour in Mto wa Mbu village where you will experience how local people live, see banana plantations and you can also taste the local food.

Lake Manyara game drive then back to Arusha

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara - which is located at the top of the Rift Valley - for a full-day game drive inside the park. You will be able to see tree-climbing lions and many flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. You will also visit a hot spring and a Maasai boma where you can see how they live and learn about their culture and traditions. Later, drive back to Arusha.
