'Tarangire National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park - Unforgettable Safari Tours'

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, forming a stunning bowl about 265 square kilometers in size and up to 600 meters deep. It is home to approximately 30,000 mammals. The crater floor features a variety of habitats, including grasslands, swamps, forests, and lakes fed by the Munge River.

The crater offers breathtaking scenery and is one of the best places in East Africa to spot the “Big Five:” elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion, and the occasional leopard. No safari in northern Tanzania would be complete without a visit to this UNESCO World Heritage site. The Ngorongoro Crater also offers excellent birdwatching, with over 500 species recorded.

You will have packed picnic lunch boxes with you as you descend the crater. After lunch at the picnic site, you will ascend the crater and drive directly to your accommodations in the Serengeti.

''From Serengeti National Park to Karatu; Exploring Tanzania's Wildlife and Scenic Beauty''

Serengeti National Park is the largest park in the northern circuit of Tanzania, named after the Maasai word "Siringet," meaning endless plains. Covering approximately 25,000 km², it is home to the largest remaining unaltered animal migration in the world, where over one million wildebeest, along with hundreds of thousands of other ungulates, engage in a 1,000 km long annual circular trek.

The park is inhabited by animals such as buffalo, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, warthogs, jackals, hartebeests, and more. The northern part of Serengeti is hillier and rocky, while the west features Grumeti, valleys, rivers, and forests. Serengeti also has “kopjes,” granite outcrops rising from the plains. It's an immense and stunning landscape; a vast sky country that feels like untamed wilderness.

After lunch and a game drive inside the park, you will head to your selected accommodations in Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay.

It hosts a wide variety of birds, including thousands of flamingos that feed along the lake's edge during the wet season.

In addition to birds, many animals can be spotted in Lake Manyara, such as elephants, wildebeest, zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, and Grant’s gazelle. Predators such as lions, hyenas, and black-backed jackals are also present in the park.
