1-Day Tanzania Safari Tarangire National Park

• You'll be collected from the airport.

We will pick you up from Arusha Airport or your hotel in Arusha and take you to Tarangire National Park. You will enjoy a full-day game drive at Tarangire National Park, with lunch, soft drinks, and water included. After the safari, we will transfer you back to your hotel or to Arusha Airport.

Tarangire National Park is almost 3,000 square kilometers (1,160 square miles) and is best known for its huge numbers of elephants and baobab trees. The park is named after the Tarangire River that crosses through it. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the dry season (June—November) as wildlife concentrations rival the Serengeti's. Enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only water source during this dry period. With its varied habitats and permanent water, the park is home to over 2,000 elephants and 500 bird species.
