Day 1

Nairobi to the Scenic Lake Nakuru National Park
On this first day and the beginning day of your classic safari, your driver will meet you at the airport or Nairobi Hotel and brief you about the entire safari, and then embark on your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park which is approximately a drive of 3-4 hours. You'll pass through the Great Rift Valley Escarpment and make a stop for photography and scenic views of the Escarpment which stretches from the Middle East in the north to Mozambique in the south. The area is geologically active and features volcanoes, hot springs, and geysers. You'll arrive in time for check-in and have lunch. You can catch a siesta or freshen up and later head out to an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. It's home to migratory flamingoes and about 350 other bird species. The park is also a haven for the endangered black and white rhino species.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.

Day 2
Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, check out and enjoy enroute game drives of Lake Nakuru National Park before leaving for the Masai Mara. The drive from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara is around 4-5 hours drive. You'll be arriving at Zebra Plains Mara Camp in time for check-in and lunch. After lunch and relaxation, head out for an afternoon game drive until sunset.
Return to the Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
With some arrangements with the hotel staff (and at an extra cost not included in the safari cost), you may catch a sundowner around the fireplace as Maasai warriors dance the evening away).

Day 3

After breakfast, you will head out to a full-day game drive returning in the evening. Your driver/guide will ensure a picnic lunch is packed for you when you leave in the morning. They will be sure to get you a scenic spot to have your meal against the backdrop of the serene African savannah.
The vast Masai Mara is home to abundant wildlife, and you'll be spoilt for choice if you have brought your camera along. Ensure to stay hydrated throughout the day since it gets scorching out here! You'll be almost sure to see all of Africa's Big Five and most likely witness one of the big cat species on the hunt!
Later, you will return to Zebra Plains in the evening for an arranged bush nature walk with an experienced and knowledgeable guide in a wildlife conservation area. You'll get to see the animals and plants of the region up close and learn about their habits and behaviors.

Day 4
Masai Mara - Nairobi

After a relaxed breakfast and check-out, the guide will take you to Maasai village, where you will interact with the local people and buy souvenirs. You'll then enjoy the road trip to Nairobi with lunch at Narok town. You should be in Nairobi at around 4:00 p.m. or earlier depending on your flight time.
This marks the end of this memorable classic safari that will leave you refreshed and reconnected with nature.
