You'll enjoy a delicious lunch en route before heading to Fort Portal for a visit to Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru, a culturally significant site with a remarkable history located in western Uganda. The journey typically takes about two hours. Afterward, you'll check into your lodge and enjoy a delightful dinner.

After enjoying a cup of coffee at your lodge, you'll embark on a journey to the park headquarters for a briefing, followed by chimp tracking, which typically takes about two hours. You'll return to the lodge for a relaxing lunch before departing for Queen Elizabeth National Park via Kasese, taking in the stunning scenery along the way. You'll enjoy an exciting evening game drive before settling in for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at your lodge.

After an early breakfast at your lodge, you'll embark on an exciting game drive in the Kasenyi Plains. This open savannah grassland is a prime spot for wildlife viewing, offering opportunities to see elephants, buffaloes, kobs, and, on lucky days, even lions and leopards.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a journey that typically takes about two hours. You'll relax and take in the breathtaking scenery while spotting a variety of wildlife along the water.
After a thrilling day, you will return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

You will have breakfast and then be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way you will enjoy scenic views of the highlands of the greater Kigezi region. Upon arrival at the lodge in the evening, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Start the day with an early morning breakfast and then proceed to the headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing on the dos and don’ts of gorilla tracking. Experienced rangers will accompany you into the dense rainforest in search of the gentle giants. Be prepared with a raincoat and boots, as the weather can be unpredictable. Porters are available to carry luggage for a small fee. The duration of the trek varies depending on the location of the gorilla families and can range from 2-7 hours. After your trek, you can return to the lodge for a late lunch or opt for a packed lunch.

Day 6

Depart after breakfast and drive through scenic Ugandan landscapes, plantations, and farms. Along the way, you can pay an optional visit to the Igongo Cultural Centre and Museum to explore the traditions of the Ankole people. Stop for lunch or a picnic at a restaurant en route. In the afternoon, arrive at Lake Mburo National Park and check in at your lodge.
Later, enjoy an evening game drive to spot zebras, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, and diverse bird species as the sun sets over the savannah. Then, return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lake Mburo National Park - Kampala
After an early breakfast, we will go on a safari walk in Lake Mburo National Park. We will later head to Entebbe, with a stopover at the famed Uganda Equator line. Have lunch and then proceed to the airport, arriving in the afternoon.
