Kigali, Arrival

The arrival of your air transfer into Kigali. Meet and greet assistance by Akagera Aviation. They will assist with quick clearance at the immigration (visa). Once done, you will be handed over to and warmly welcomed by our representative who will be waiting outside the customs and immigration hall. Transfer to your hotel in the city. Arrive and check in assistance. Tour briefing will take place in the lobby.
Dinner will follow an overnight stay.

Kigali- Lake Kivu (3hrs drive), City tour

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. 09h00: Proceed on a guided city tour that will include visiting the Rwanda History/Art museum, Kigali Genocide memorial. We will finish with the Choose Kigali arts gallery.
Have lunch at the La terrasse Restaurant.
At 15h00, have a leisurely drive to Lake Kivu and en route to Musanze. Arrive in the evening at 17h00 and assisted with check-in over a welcome drink (non-alcoholic). Dinner will follow and overnight stay.

Lake Kivu; Congo Nile Trail

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the bike bay where you will have a briefing.
The most popular way to explore the Congo Nile Trail is by bike.
Remember that Rwanda is known as the Land of a Thousand Hills for a reason and you will
constantly be biking uphill or downhill.
Your car and the bike carrier vehicle will follow you until 12 pm.
We will then transfer you back to the hotel for lunch and a brief rest.
15h00: Have a guided city tour of Gisenyi. From Kivu Serena Hotel the tour will take you to the local markets, communities, hand-craft shops, and other many places that together give you the opportunity to meet local people, and explore, feel and understand our lifestyle.

Lake Kivu - Kigali (03h00 drive) - Depart

Have breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Paradis Malahide hotel for kayaking lessons and trials.
The excursion will take about 2 hours. Once done, proceed by vehicle to your hotel.
Freshen up and check out at 11h00. Depart for Kigali, with brief stops.
Arrive in time for lunch at the Khana kazana restaurant. Later, transfer to Kigali international airport.
Bid farewell to your driver guide. Proceed to check in for your outbound air transfer.
