Day 1

Upon your morning arrival in Uganda, our Kubwa Five Safaris guide will warmly welcome you at Entebbe International Airport with an A4 paper with your name printed on it. From the airport, you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park.

En route to Murchison Falls National Park, you will make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking.

After rhino tracking, we’ll continue the drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Your first adventure in the park will be a visit to the top of the falls, which is a truly magical experience.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 2

Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, you will leave for a morning game drive, which will offer excellent birdwatching opportunities and breathtaking sightseeing across the open savannah, dotted woodlands, and riverine vegetation of the Nile River and Albert delta.

Following the morning game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch and then head out for a cruise on the Nile. We’ll journey upstream by boat to the serene Victoria Nile and the base of the falls. You’ll marvel at the impressive hippos and crocodiles. During the 17-kilometer stretch, you may also encounter elephants, waterbucks, and Uganda kobs.

After the boat cruise, embark on an evening game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 3

Murchison Falls National Park - Kibale National Park

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park, driving southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the western Great Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima and the Kyejonjo district en route to the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal. Fort Portal is capital of the Tooro kingdom and is situated in the shadow of the fabled "Mountains of the Moon," the Rwenzori.

Upon arrival, you’ll check into your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

Kibale National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Kibale National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will depart with your tracking gear for chimpanzee tracking. Our journey will start early and takes about two to three hours, depending on the location of the chimps.

After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is a huge park where wildlife and people coexist in harmony.

Once you check in at your lodge, you will go on a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. You will see squacco herons, pied kingfishers, large numbers of buffalo and hippo, basking crocodiles, and many different bird species and large mammals.

After the boat ride, you will go for an evening game drive in in the park with the aim of catching lions hunting. Lions usually hunt when temperatures are cooler.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ishasha sector in search of the tree climbing lions on the Kasenyi Plains. When you arrive in Ishasha, which is located in the southern area of the park, you will first try to spot the lions in one of the huge trees.

After the game drive in Ishasha, you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the famous mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge for lunch and then pay a visit to the local Batwa community to learn more about their culture.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 6

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Lake Bunyonyi

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you’ll depart with packed lunches in hand for the park headquarters alongside your guide. Here, you will receive a briefing about the do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking.

Your gorilla trekking adventure will take you through the misty rainforest. The trek can last between 2-6 hours, depending on the location of the gentle giants. Be sure to carry sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, rain jackets, and enough water.

After this long and exciting adventure, return to the lodge to freshen up. You will then be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi, a picturesque site characterized by the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water. Lake Bunyonyi is surrounded by lush, green-terraced hills that reach heights of 2,200 to 2,478 meters, making it the second deepest lake in Africa.

In the evening, you can enjoy activities such as zip lining and/or ninja warrior challenges. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the resort.

Day 7

After breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Entebbe. En route, you will stop at the equator in Masaka to see where this imaginary line divides our planet into two equal hemispheres. Here, you can enjoy lunch, take photographs, and purchase snacks and souvenirs.

After lunch, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Kenya. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our guides, who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi for dinner and your overnight stay.

Early in the morning, you will have breakfast and then depart for Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival at Lake Naivasha National Park, you will check in at your lodge before heading out on an evening boat ride.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Hell's Gate National Park for a two-hour bike ride. Following the bike ride, you will be driven to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at your hotel in time for lunch in the afternoon. After lunch, you will embark on an evening game drive.

Lake Nakuru National Park is renowned for its flamingos and the over 400 species of birds found here. This soda lake on the floor of the Rift Valley is a spectacular sight, with millions of flamingos oftentimes giving the lake a pinkish appearance from a distance.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

After breakfast, set out for an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake is famous for attracting millions of flamingos to its alkaline shores. These flamingos feed on the abundant algae in the warm, shallow waters and create a stunning fuchsia-pink mirage.

Following the morning drive, you’ll depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, which boasts a variety and abundance of wildlife. You will pass through the floor of the Rift Valley en route and arrive in the at the reserve in the evening.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
