Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our Kubwa Five Safaris representative, who will have your name printed on an A4 sheet of paper. You will then be transferred to Lake Nakuru National Park.

You will have lunch on your way to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru National Park, you will go for an evening game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species, particularly the Rothschild giraffes and black and white rhinos. Lions, waterbuck, buffaloes, and baboons also live here.

Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya’s renowned soda lakes and is world-famous for attracting millions of flamingos to its alkaline shores. Feeding on the abundant algae that grow in the warm and shallow waters, witnessing these legions of fuchsia-pink flamingos is a sight to behold.

You will have dinner and an overnight stay at Mbweha Camp.

After breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.

Then, drive to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley (you will have time to enjoy the scenic view), arriving at Masai Mara National Reserve in the afternoon. After lunch, you will head out for a game drive.

Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve's western escarpment, regarded as the jewel of Kenya's wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. A visitor can hardly miss seeing the Big Five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration, a spectacular event only seen in Masai Mara, is one of the World's Seven Wonders.

After breakfast, you will spend a half-day in the park with a packed lunch and search for its well-known predators (lions and cheetahs) and their opponents like the zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and other animal species. The Masai Mara National Reserve offers excellent wildlife sightings, with over 450 species of animals being recorded here. You will easily see hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, and many kinds of antelopes.

Perhaps the most spectacular natural event occurs in the Masai Mara National Reserve. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeests and zebras from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.

In the evening, visit the local Masai Village for a cultural tour. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people.

Overnight at the Masai Village can be organized upon request.

You will leave your hotel with a packed breakfast and proceed to Hell's Gate National Park via the Olkaria Route and Moi S Lake Road. Hell's Gate National Park offers a unique experience in that you can enjoy walking and cycling safaris here, get up close and personal with the animals, and take in all that amazing scenery.

After the 2-hour bike ride or walking safari, you will head to Amboseli National Park. You arrive at your camp in time for lunch and short relaxation.

After breakfast, we will head for a city tour. We will visit the Nairobi National Museum, the National Archives, the KICC Towers, and the village market.

After lunch, you will proceed to the giraffe center. After feeding the giraffes, you will transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to Entebbe Airport in Uganda. Our Kubwa Five Safaris representative will pick you up upon arrival in Uganda. You will recognize our representative as he/she will have your name printed on an A4 paper. The transfer to Humura Resorts will follow.

On your way to Murchison Falls National Park, you will branch to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking; this is one of the breathtaking activities in Uganda, the pearl of Africa.

After the rhino tracking, you will be driven to Murchison Falls National Park. Your first tourist attraction in the park will be the top of the falls. The exciting experience brings you close to the rushing whitewater as it squeezes through the narrow crevice below. The resulting mist from the turbulence often produces rainbows.

After the morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch. You will go for the boat cruise from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

Later in the evening, you will head out for the evening game drive. Please note that you will have bird watching during the game drives and boat cruise.

After breakfast, you will travel from Murchison Falls National Park, driving southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the Great Western Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima, then Kyejonjo district, and reach the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled "Mountains of the Moon," the Rwenzori. You will either have lunch on your way or at Kyaninga Lodge.

The tracking will start early and take about two to three hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees. After the trek, you will return to the resort for lunch and then drive to Sempaya Hot Springs, the main attraction of this park and our safari highlight.

At the springs, you will witness water boiling itself using natural forces. The strength and hotness of the springs are amazing, as one can boil eggs and matooke and have them ready to eat within a few minutes!

After breakfast, visit the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves and the three surrounding explosion Crater Lakes. This makes for a most interesting day adventure, which can be done while staying in the Fort Portal. A side trip to nearby Crater Lakes involves hiking, learning about the local culture and legends, and exploring the crater lakes.

You will go to Queen Elizabeth National Park as your next destination. You will check in at your hotel for lunch and then head out for a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Some of the best wildlife viewing is done on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, passing squacco herons, pied kingfishers, large numbers of buffaloes and hippos, basking crocodiles, and many different bird species. This is one of the most memorable experiences from the park, with over 300 hippos in the lake.

Later in the evening, you will head out for the evening game drive.

The time has come to go to the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park—Ishasha. After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ishasha sector to see the tree-climbing lions on the Kasenyi Plains.

The Ishasha sector is notably recognized for its resident tree-climbing lions, an exceptional attraction and one of the highlights of all safaris taken within Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the southern section of this park, the lions are now and again spotted hanging on branches of huge fig trees, whereas the Uganda kob (the primary food for these lions) graze in the plains of the Ishasha sector.

After the game drive in Ishasha, it is time to move to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the famous mountain gorillas. Check in for lunch and prepare for yet another highlight of this amazing trip—tracking mountain gorillas

After breakfast, you will head to the park's head offices with your guide. There, you will have a briefing about the dos and don'ts of being in the park with gorillas.

After heading out for gorilla trekking through the misty rainforest, the trek can take two to six hours, depending on the location of the gentle giants.
Ensure you carry enough water and wear sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, and rain jackets. After this long and exciting adventure, return to our lodge for a well-deserved shower, and then have lunch and relax.

In the evening, check out and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is a twisting water body dotted with 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water.

Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of 2,200—2,478m and is probably the second-deepest lake in Africa. It is one of the few African lakes completely safe for swimming since there is no bilharzia.
