Nairobi to Samburu

Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by our representative, who will brief you. Embark on a journey to diverse landscapes. Upon reaching Shaba National Reserve, will check in and lunch at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge before embarking on an evening game drive where you will get to see different species. Later in the evening head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Samburu National Reserve

After a satisfying breakfast, leave the hotel for a full-day adventure in Shaba National Reserve. Here, you'll have the opportunity to see the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) as well as the "special five" (Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and Somali Ostrich) along with unique bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the midst of nature before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Samburu to Nairobi

Breakfast will be served as from 0630 hrs. Depart by 0730 hrs and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon at Carnivore Restaurant where farewell lunch today will be served. The Carnivore is justifiably referred to as Africa’s Greatest Eating Experience. Twice voted amongst the world’s 50 best restaurants by UK based Restaurant magazine, the Carnivore is an amazing open-air meat specialty restaurant that has strikingly different food service and atmosphere to any other restaurant in Kenya. Whole joints of meat - legs of lamb and pork, haunches of exotic meat, rumps of beef, sirloins, racks of lamb, spare ribs, sausages, chicken wings, skewered kidneys, even crocodile, and other tasty morsels - are roasted on traditional Maasai swords over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant. Thereafter, drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your flight.
