Day 1

Early in the morning you will transfer to Kibale National Park. Along the way you will eat lunch in Fort Portal, pass through traditional villages, and enjoy views of the evergreen landscape and Rwenzori Mountains.
Kibale Forest is 1100-1600m above sea level and contains both montane and lowland forests. 13 primate species live here, including the chimpanzees, as well as monkeys such as the red colobus and the rare L’Hoest’s. The park was gazetted in 1932 and established in 1993 to protect the increasing number of animals and vegetation.
Upon arrival at the park, you’ll visit the scenic crater lakes region and later check into your lodge.

Day 2

After an early breakfast you will go to the park headquarters for a briefing about your upcoming chimpanzee trek. These primates are our closest relatives—they share 98% of their DNA with us! A chimpanzee community in the park may have up to 100 members and its own unique social structure. There are also many other primate and monkey species that live here, including golden monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, and bush babies.
This park is one of the great rainforests in Africa. Later you will visit Bigodi swamp, which is also good for watching primates and birds.

Day 3
Kibale - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast, you might opt for a nature walk in the Kibale forest or drive directly to Queen Elizabeth National Park. After a three-hour drive, you’ll check-in at the lodge and enjoy lunch before embarking on a game drive in the park. You’ll view a wide variety of wildlife, including over 600 bird species, elephants, lions, buffalos, kobs, antelopes, and many more.
Queen Elizabeth is famous for its flora, fauna, and the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. The park covers an area of 767 sq. miles and features many crater lakes.

Day 4

We will wake early in the morning for a game drive along the Kasenyi track. We will see lions, elephants, solitary buffaloes, kobs, antelopes, and more. All these animals can be viewed at a closer range. After you return to the lodge for breakfast ( you can optand lunch, you will go on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, while on boat cruise you will see crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, pink backed pelicans, saddle billed stork, and malachite kingfishers.

Day 5

Early in the morning after breakfast, we will drive south through the shining savannah vegetation into Bwindi impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector ( the home of tree climbing lions in queen elizabeth national park). Bwindi impenetrable National Parkis famous for its mountain Gorillas.
Upon arrival you will check in at the lodge, enjoy lunch, and then go out for a late evening sunset or relax at the lodge as you prepare for the mighty adventure in hunt for mountain Gorillas the next day.

Day 6

After an early breakfast we will make our way to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking in Bwindi. The rangers will then accompany you to the rainforest to start your search for the gentle giants.
Trekkers are always advised to carry a raincoat, drinking water, and an extra pair of trousers and boots because the weather here is unpredictable. There are also some porters who can help with carrying supplies for an extra cost. Upon sighting the gorillas, the rangers will guide you on behave around them. There is no set length of time for gorilla tracking because it depends on where the families are located. Trekkers are also advised to be physically fit before participating in this activity you will also be allowed to spend 1-2hours with them.
After your trek, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch.

Day 7
Bwindi - entebbe
Bwindi - entebbe
After breakfast in the morning, you will start your journey back to Entebbe. Along the way you will stop at the equator for some photos and lunch at the Igongo cultural center. You might also opt to visit the museum at the center before finishing your drive to Entebbe in the late afternoon or late evening.
