After breakfast in Arusha, you will set off for Tarangire National Park. On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the sight of towering baobab trees and impressive termite mounds scattered across the landscape. Tarangire is famous for its rich variety of bird species and its large elephant population. You may also encounter prides of lions, graceful giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffaloes, and playful baboons.
After an exciting game drive and wildlife viewing in Tarangire, you will continue your journey toward the day’s final highlight—the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, located near Lake Manyara. In the evening, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Karatu.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, you will depart on a game drive and have a picnic lunch in Ngorongoro crater. Animals often migrate in and out of the crater due to its inflated walls. This means you are likely to spot all the members of the Big Five (buffalo, elephants, rhinos, lions, and leopards) in one day. Some other wildlife you can expect to encounter includes zebras, hippos, wildebeest, and hyenas. The crater also exhibits a large-scale bird population of geese, storks, and vultures. A favorite sight is that of the flamingos on the soda lake.
Our guides are highly professional, and their ability to track animals will astonish you. The reason for this is that animal tracking is a skill that a book alone cannot teach you, and a select few can perform. Your trip will end in the late afternoon, and you will return to Arusha.
