We will meet you at the airport, pick you up, and transfer you to Karibu Heritage House. The first day's excursion starts with an insightful and informative sightseeing tour of local markets, the Masaai market, the Cultural Heritage Centre, and the Arusha Museum.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will meet you at your hotel at 7:30am and introduce you to your guide and chef for the tour. You will also get a chance to meet the other guests on tour. From here, we embark on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its diverse landscapes, an abundance of ancient baobab trees, and many elephants. In addition, you will get to observe the interaction between members of an elephant family.

We will do a game drive to places inside the park, depending on where there are reported sightings of lions, cheetahs, and leopards. In addition, abundant herbivores are residents of the park. The herbivores include giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras, to name but a few.

Later, we will stop at a picnic site at the Tarangire River, where we will have lunch and enjoy the beautiful river view and animals roaming around. You will see small monkeys and baboons in the area that will try to snatch your lunch, but do not worry, they are harmless.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park to Mto wa Mbu

Tarangire National Park to Mto wa Mbu

We will head out early on a game drive to see Tarangire wildlife walking to the river for a morning drink. Starting early with a game drive is essential to ensure you see as many animals as possible. The game drive will continue from 10:30 or 11:00 when more tourist groups enter the park.

We will leave for Fig Tree Lodge and Camp to have lunch, enjoy time at the pool and relax before taking a cycling tour to Mto wa Mbu. We will ride through rice and banana plantations and see the local people going about their daily routines. We continue to the Great Rift Valley or Lake Manyara before returning to the lodge for our overnight stay.

We will explore the broader parts of the Western Serengeti, where you will see a slightly different vegetation type.

After an early breakfast, we will depart for our first game drive. A second game drive will start after lunch as we proceed to Lake Victoria. In the evening, we will be at Speke Bay to enjoy a breathtaking sunset before we proceed for dinner and our overnight stay.

Enjoy the sunrise from Lake Victoria and fishing and canoeing activities, a splendid day by the lakeside. Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Africa and the second-largest freshwater lake in the world. The region around Lake Victoria is one of the most densely populated in Africa, with several million people living around its shores. However, due to its somewhat remote location, away from the usual tourist hot spots, the area offers a different side of Tanzania. You will be able to experience the lives of the locals before embarking on a trip back to Serengeti National Park, where the wildlife adventure continues.

Day 7

After an early breakfast, we will go on a game drive in Serengeti National Park until lunchtime. After that, we will enjoy lunch at the campsite. After lunch, we will pack up and leave the Serengeti as we start our 2-hour game drive to Simba Campsite. The camp is located near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, which means that you will see various animals from the comfort of the campsite.

Day 8

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, we will descend the crater at 6:15am. Today's game drive aims to find black rhinos. Unfortunately, black rhinos are more difficult to spot than most animals on the crater floor.

After lunch, we will do a game drive as we ascend the crater back to camp. Once we are back at the camp, we will prepare and pack for our trip to Karibu Heritage House in Arusa. Finally, we will arrive in the evening at our destination.
