Arusha - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart and drive to Ngorongoro for a full day game drive in the crater. In the evening, head back to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay. The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater —the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. Approximately 20 kilometers across, 600 meters deep, and covering 300 square kilometers in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. Our visit will include exploring Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. This area is known for the abundant presence of flamingos, hippos, and various other water birds.

Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart and drive to Serengeti National Park for a game drive. Lunch will be a hot meal at midday. In the evening, check in at the camp for dinner and your overnight stay. The park is renowned for its abundant wildlife, especially the "big five," named for the five most prized trophies historically taken by hunters. The Serengeti is believed to harbor the largest population of lions (3,000) in Africa, attributed in part to the abundance of prey species here. The reclusive African leopard is commonly sighted in the Seronera region and is present throughout the national park, with a population of around 1,000. The park is also home to a significant population of African elephants.

Arusha
In the early morning, grab breakfast boxes and head to Lake Eyasi for a hunting experience with the Hadzabe community. Witness firsthand how these local people acquire food through hunting wild animals and gain insights into their way of life. The lake is elongated and oriented southwest to northeast, lying in the Eyasi-Wembere branch of the Great Rift Valley. The Hadzabe bushmen inhabit this region, alongside the Datoga and Mbulu communities. A visit with the bushmen is worthwhile, as they graciously demonstrate their way of life and hunting practices. They sustain themselves entirely from the bush and engage in bow hunting. All their tools, including bows strung with giraffe tendons and arrows coated in lethal poison, are crafted from local materials. Like the Masai people, the Datoga and Mbulu people are pastoralists.
Later you’ll depart for Arusha, enjoying a local Tanzanian lunch on the way.
