4-Day Kruger Tremisana Lodge Safari

Transfer from Johannesburg to Kruger and evening game drive

We collect our clients from all hotels, guesthouses and private homes in Gauteng, as well as from the Johannesburg Airport. We travel via the Highveld farmlands to the picturesque subtropical Lowveld. We make a lunch stop in the vibrant town of Dullstroom, and then drive on to the game lodge in the Balule section of the Kruger Park.

After a short break during which you may unwind at the bar, have a swim or relax in the tropical gardens, we board the open Land Cruiser for a 3-hour sunset drive. Your guide will show you various animals and birds and after dark, use spotlights to locate nocturnal species. Dinner will be a traditional bush braai (barbecue) in the Marula Tree Boma deep in the African bush. You overnight in your comfortable air-conditioned en suite thatch-roofed chalet.

Bush walk with rangers and afternoon game drive

Awaken at sunrise for an exhilarating day of unforgettable wildlife. We drive to a remote venue, where you enjoy a 4-hour walk in the wild. Your experienced and armed field guides will lead you through the bush at a comfortable pace as you search for wild animals and other interesting aspects and secrets of the bush. The excitement and thrill of tracking Africa’s wild animals will certainly get the adrenaline flowing.

We return to our lodge for brunch. Afterward, you can unwind and enjoy some downtime. You can also enjoy game viewing from our hide overlooking a dam. Later, we drive to Tshukudu Big 5 Reserve where we enjoy high tea. Afterward, we continue on the game drive during which the rangers remain in radio contact and exchange information about the movements and location of the game and wild animals. We return to the lodge where you will enjoy dinner and spend quality time with loved ones and friends.

Full Day Game Drive in Kruger Main

We travel to the Orpen section of Kruger National Park for a full day of exhilarating game viewing. The absence of windows and the elevated vantage position make for excellent photo opportunities. You will have an amazing chance not only to view game, but also to listen to the sounds of wildlife and inhale the smell of the African bush and its residents.

We make a pit-stop at a picnic spot or rest camp. After the morning game drive, you can enjoy lunch at one of the rest camps in the Kruger National Park. After lunch, we continue with the afternoon game drive in Kruger Park. Your experienced ranger will show you many animals and birds that frequent this wildlife paradise. The Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi regions boast open plains that are home to large herds of zebra, giraffe and antelope, and also attract numerous predators. In fact, the zones we visit have the highest concentration of lions in Africa!

After our game drive, we return to the lodge for a great dinner and quality downtime.

Return to Johannesburg via Blyde River Canyon

This is the last day of your African Kruger safari. Enjoy an early morning sunrise drive in the open Land Cruiser. After a sumptuous breakfast, there will be time to purchase some memorabilia from our shop and take your last photos of the lush gardens at Tremisana. We then drive to the awesome Three Rondawels and the majestic Blyde River Canyon. This is the world's third-largest canyon.

After our visit to the Blyde River Canyon, we drive to Dullstroom where we stop for lunch (own account). After lunch, we return to Johannesburg, Gauteng in the late afternoon. We will drop you off as per arrangement.
