From OR Tambo Johannesburg Airport to Hoedspruit Airport, you will take a bush road transfer to Hamilton's Tented Camp in time for a light lunch before a late afternoon game drive. Hamiltons Tented Camp is located within the private 10,000-hectare concession of Mluwati in the western region of Kruger Park. Guests enjoy absolute privacy within 6 luxury elevated tented suites, set on the banks of the N’waswitsontso River. Each suite offers spacious timber decks from which one can enjoy the passing game along the riverine forest. Private plunge pools are suspended upon the extended teak decks over breathtaking views. Décor is themed to replicate an authentic “Out of Africa” style. Traditional fittings and features such as old brass light switches, and steamer trunks with vintage labels reveal exciting journeys and sepia-stained photographs. These luxury safari tents are enhanced with modern comforts of electricity and air conditioning, the only clues that we live in a different time.

Awake at dawn to join the ranger in the main lodge for coffee and a homemade rusk, before heading out into the bush with your highly trained and experienced guide and tracker. As the animals awake and seek water, this is a thrilling experience that can lead to many unique sightings of big and small game. Enjoy the sights and smells of the African bush before heading back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, lounge on the private viewing deck, chat with your guides or arrange a relaxing and soothing massage with blended aromatherapy oils of ylang-ylang, cedarwood and vanilla, to soothe your soul while overlooking the African bush from the comfort of your luxury tent. Dine at the main lodge for lunch whilst being served by butlers in traditional colonial uniforms, before cooling off in your private pool. High tea is served mid-afternoon before embarking on another adventurous game drive with your ranger. Enjoy sundowners in the bush, and dine at the camp as the stars dazzle your eyes.
