Your safari begins with a scenic drive north toward Samburu National Reserve, a rugged, remote region famous for its unique landscapes and rare wildlife. Arrive at your luxury lodge in time for lunch, with dramatic views over the Ewaso Nyiro River or nearby hills. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive in search of Samburu’s famous “Special Five”: Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk.
The following day offers morning and afternoon game drives to explore more of this striking semi-arid ecosystem. Watch elephants bathe along the riverbanks, spot leopards lounging in trees, and observe the fascinating behaviors of animals found only in northern Kenya. After breakfast, depart Samburu and head to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a shining example of modern conservation in East Africa. Upon arrival, begin your day with a visit to the endangered species enclosure, where you’ll come face to face with rhinos, including the last remaining northern white rhinos on Earth. This sanctuary offers a powerful, up-close look at Kenya’s efforts to protect these incredible animals.
Check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out again in the afternoon. You’ll visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary—home to rescued chimpanzees from across Africa—before continuing on a classic game drive across the conservancy. With chances to spot lions, elephants, rhinos, and hyenas, Ol Pejeta provides a perfect mix of wildlife viewing and inspiring conservation stories.

Famed for its flamingo-covered shores and large populations of both black and white rhinos, Lake Nakuru offers the chance to see waterbuck, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, and even elusive leopards. As the sun begins to set, return to your lodge for dinner and a restful night, surrounded by the calls of the wild.

You will have an early-morning breakfast, followed by a morning game drive at the park before exiting. Later, you'll leave Lake Nakuru for the Masai Mara, a 5-hour drive.
Upon arrival at the Maasai Mara, you'll check in and enjoy a delicious lunch featuring both local and international cuisine. Then, embark on an afternoon game drive in the renowned reserve, famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration. With your expert guide, you'll have the opportunity to spot a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, cheetahs, and elephants.
After an exhilarating day, return to Zebra Plains Mara Camp for a hearty dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Begin your day with a hearty early morning breakfast, energizing you for an exhilarating full day of game viewing in one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife destinations.
The Masai Mara Game Reserve is home to the Big Five and is renowned as one of the most dynamic wildlife ecosystems on the planet. It boasts the highest concentration of large mammals and a diverse range of ecosystems, from savannahs and woodlands to riverine forests, making it a prime destination for wildlife enthusiasts.
You'll enjoy your picnic lunch along the Mara River or the Masai Mara Savannah. Depending on the season, you might also get the chance to witness the spectacular Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing pastures, typically occurring from July to October.
Later, return for dinner and spend the night at Zebra Plains Mara Camp, where you can relax and reflect on the day's adventures amid the breathtaking African landscape.

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast, then proceed to a game drive. On this day, we recommend a morning/evening game drive to have time to enjoy the lodge facilities. In the early mornings and evenings, you'll have the opportunity to see lots of animals, as the big cats are more active and the sun isn't hot. In addition, we'll arrange for you a guided nature walk with a local masai guide from the camp, where you'll have a chance to experience different animals and birds. The nature walk is approximately 1 hour.
On this day, you'll have the option to complement your safari with a balloon safari, which will allow you to experience wildlife from the sky, followed by a complimentary bush breakfast!

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, then check out. Afterward, you'll embark on a visit to a Masai village, where you can immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the Masai people. You'll arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch. Later, you will be dropped off at your hotel or directly at the airport, concluding your 8-day safari.
