Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll be picked up from the airport/Nairobi hotel for an early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. It holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and attendant predators. You'll arrive in time for lunch, which is followed by an afternoon game drive. Later on, you'll return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

All-Day at Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will head out to a full-day game drive returning in the evening. Your driver/guide will ensure a picnic lunch is packed for you when you leave in the morning. They will be sure to get you a scenic spot to have your meal against the backdrop of the serene African savannah.

The vast Masai Mara is home to abundant wildlife, and you'll be spoilt for choice if you have brought your camera along. Ensure to stay hydrated throughout the day since it gets scorching out here! You'll be almost sure to see all of Africa's Big Five and most likely witness one of the big cat species on the hunt!

Later, you will return to Zebra Plains in the evening for arranged bush nature walk. You'll embark on relaxed, guided walks by an experienced and knowledgeable guide in a wildlife conservation area. You'll get to see the animals and plants of the region up close and learn about their habits and behaviours.

Dinner and your overnight stay are at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi

After a relaxed breakfast and check-out, the guide will take you to Maasai village, where you will interact with the local people and buy souvenirs. You will then enjoy the road trip to Nairobi with lunch at Narok town. You should be in Nairobi at around 4:00 p.m. Drop off at your hotel or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight home.
