Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in your lodge, proceed on the 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. After check-in at the park, start your game viewing from the entry gate. Tarangire National Park is well known as the home of elephants. With an area of 2,700 sq. km, the park is not that small, allowing you to have different game-driving areas. This safari will take you to observe giraffes, elephants, antelopes, and some cats, such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Picnic lunch in the park at selected picnic area on the top of the Tarangire River.
In the late afternoon, drive to the lodge (about an hour and a half) for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Crater Tour - Serengeti

Have an early breakfast and go to Ngorongoro Crater. After checking in at the gate, descend 600 m to the crater floor. Ngorongoro crater is a self-dependent ecosystem, home to carnivores, antelopes, and herbivores. If lucky, you may see the Big 5, which includes lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes. There are several waterbirds at Magadi Lake, including beautiful flamingoes, herons, and pelicans.
The Lerai Forest is home to baboons, monkeys, elephants, bushbucks, waterbucks, and even leopards. The size of the crater floor is 260 sq. km. The Munge River is the source of fresh water in the area. You will see hippopotamuses in the swamps, and in the open areas, you will see grazing animals. In the afternoon, you will be taken to the picnic site, where you can see hippos up close. After lunch, have an en-route game drive as you ascend the crater and drive to Serengeti.

Day 3
Serengeti Game Drive

Today, you will have a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti, searching for the Big 5 and other animals. Serengeti National Park is a vast park with almost 15,000 sq. km. Every side of the park has seasonal visits, depending on the time of the year, due to the migration of animals.
The Central Serengeti, where we stay, is an area visited all year round because it has its resident animals. Your full-day game drive allows you to view different animals and their habits. This period of the month you can go and searching the location of the migration animals. Start your game drive from sun-rise to sun-set.

Day 4
Serengeti/Ngorongoro-Crater

Have an early breakfast and go for a game drive for about 5 to 6 hours. Serengeti National Park is well known as an endless plain with abundant carnivores such as hyenas, lions, leopards, jackals, cheetahs, etc. Rocks in the area are home to different animals like hyrax, lion, and even leopard.
Have your picnic lunch in the afternoon, then after lunch, drive with an en-route game drive through Ngorongoro, then to the exit gate and drive to Karatu for your overnight stay.

Day 5
Cultural Tour - Airport
Cultural Tour - Airport
After breakfast, drive to Mto wa Mbu village, where you will have a cultural tour of the area. The tour includes walking, and visiting a banana farm to experience the lifestyle of people in this area. A local guide will show you around. We will have a local lunch, which is well cooked and prepared by a Mamaz cooker, allowing you to taste different types of food. This activity will be very possible if your departure time is not limited.
Thereafter, you will drive back to Arusha town to be transferred to the airport for departure. This will be the end of your 5-day green Season safari.
