Day 1

The safari starts from Arusha where your safari guide will come to pick you up from your hotel. After a brief introduction, we will proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Today you will enjoy the excellent view over Lake Manyara, see elephants up close in the woodlands and visit the renowned Manyara hippo pool.

Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of only 330sq km (127sq miles), of which up to 200sq km (77sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion! At some point during your game drive, you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.

Day 2-3

Karatu – Serengeti National Park

Have breakfast then depart early in the morning with your lunch heading off on a spectacular afternoon game viewing in Serengeti National Park. You will spend two nights exploring the Serengeti plains.

Serengeti is a park located in northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site occupying an area of around 15,000sq km with over 2 million herbivores, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species. This area is with massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. However, the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile and the rare oribi antelope.

Day 4

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have your game viewing drive in the conservation area and visit the famous Ngorongoro Crater. And if you are lucky, this is the best place to see the black rhinos. Later in the evening, you will drive to Karatu town at your reserved accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.

The crater is the world's largest caldera which was formed after an explosion that occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago, the crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. The area has around 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds.

Program: After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and then transfer you to Arusha Airport where you will fly to Zanzibar. On your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.

Zanzibar is the main island in the Tanzanian archipelago of Zanzibar, consisting of Unguja and Pemba Island and many smaller islands, as well as in a Stone Town, a historic trade centre with Swahili and Islamic influences.
