Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

You will be picked up from the hotel or the airport in Dar es Salaam and drive to Mikumi National Park. You will have the opportunity to view the unique Mikumi giraffe that naturalists say seems to be a crossbreed between the reticulated and the Maasai giraffe. Lion, elephant, buffalo, wildebeest, and leopard can be easily spotted in this park. Your game drive will also take you around to the hippo pool to view the hippos. You will be able to see elephants coming to drink at the water hole. Enjoy the game drive until sunset and then drive to the camp. Dinner and overnight stays are in accommodations located inside or outside the park.

Saadani National Park

Departure

There is no rush today as you spend the morning leisurely at the beach. You will then collect your belongings and drive to Dar es Salaam. Enjoy a farewell lunch at the local restaurant with delicious Swahili cuisine, before being transferred to Dar es Salaam Seaport for the Kilimanjaro fast ferry boat.
