You will be met at Kruger Mpumalanga Airport and transferred in a private vehicle to the private Sabie Game Reserve, in the heart of the Greater Kruger Park. Umkumbe Safari Lodge Riverside is set along the banks of the Sand River and ideally positioned for superb Big Five game viewing in the heart of the Greater Kruger. The spacious superior suite at Umkumbe has a lounge area and ensuite bathroom with outside shower. Most rooms face the river, although a few face the bushveld. The lodge has a comfortable lounge and deck area with an inviting pool and you can often see animals walking past camp along the Sand River.
Enjoy twice daily game dives with experienced and knowledgeable guides, as well as bush walks around the lodge.
All your meals and game drives are included on your safari.

The surrounding Sabie Game Reserve is home to the iconic Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo — as well as cheetah, wild dog and a rich diversity of birds and other wildlife native to this extraordinary region.

Day 4
Visit the Panorama Route with pick up at lodge, drop at hotel
Visit the Panorama Route with pick up at lodge, drop at hotel
Enjoy one last game drive at Umkumbe before checking out. Your private guide will pick you up and set off to explore the Panorama Route. Visit iconic sights like the lookout at Blyde River Canyon and God's Window and the Bourke's Luck Potholes. At the end of your day's touring, you will be dropped at Hippo Hollow Hotel for the night
The rooms are situated on an estate featuring beautifully maintained gardens and two swimming pools, bordered by the Sabie River which is home to a wonderful variety of bird species, hippo, crocodiles, monkeys and even elephants from Elephant Whispers sanctuary who walk past regularly. Enjoy a drum and traditional dinner or a meal in the restaurant.
Spend 1 night in a garden chalet which is set in the tranquil gardens. These are air-conditioned and ensuite.

After a delicious breakfast at Hipp Holllow, you will be transported by private road transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for onward travel. This airport has daily flights to Cape Town, Johannesburg, Victoria Falls and Vilanculos in Mozambique.
