Day 1

Momela Gate to Miriakamba

Momela Gate to Miriakamba

Early in the morning, about 8:30 a.m., you'll drive to Momella Gate. You make a payment and start the climb with a picnic lunch to the first hut, called Miriakamba hut. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in Miriakamba hut. You'll explore the beauty of Tanzania's attractions. Mount Meru is the second-highest mountain in Tanzania.

Day 2

Miriakamba to Saddle Hut

Miriakamba to Saddle Hut

After breakfast, you will proceed with a climb to the second hut called Saddle. This is too steep part compared to the first part (2 ½). During the afternoon, you can decide to attempt climbing Little Meru peak and back. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Saddle Hut. You'll explore the beauty of Mount Meru.

Day 3

Saddle Hut to Summit

Saddle Hut to Summit

You'll wake up in the middle of the night and have a cup of tea before starting attempt big Meru Peak. You'll proceed to summit, crossing the rocky path and back to the Saddle hut for a full breakfast. The day will be spent resting. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay will be at Saddle Hut. You'll explore the beauty of Mount Meru.
