Day 1
Depart OR Tambo Johannesburg International Airport to Eastgate Airport

You will depart OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, for a 1-hour flight to Eastgate Airport in Kruger National Park. You will be met and transferred by road to the Ivory Wilderness River Rock Lodge in the 60,000-hectare Klaserie Private Game Reserve. You'll experience the abundance of wildlife in this vast unfenced wilderness, extending into the Kruger National Park and beyond; home to the Big Five (& Big 7, including African wild dogs and cheetahs). There are also other astounding numbers of game that roam freely across one of the largest protected areas in the world. Upon arrival, you will embark on your first private game drive with a professionally qualified and experienced ranger. Go for a 2 to 3-hour safari bush experience tracking the Big Five as well as a plethora of other mammals and over 350 bird species. Sundowners will take place in a picturesque and secluded area of the 'bush', before returning to camp for the evening dinner under the African stars.

Day 2

River Rock Lodge is a timeless pioneers camp, intimately situated within the heart of the nature reserve. Below a mature treeline and located on the banks of the Klaserie River, the region attracts vast herds of elephants, other bountiful wild game and copious bird species. This pristine wilderness has been untouched over time and will allow you to reconnect with the mysteries of nature. You will enjoy twice daily game drives (early morning and late afternoon) with your professional ranger and tracker, before relaxing by the pool late morning and early afternoon, all the while wining and dining with some delicious meals and fine cape wines.

Following your final early morning game drive at dawn, you will return to camp for a full breakfast before saying your goodbyes. Then return by road to Eastgate Airport, and on to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg for your final onward journey home or into Africa. (speak to Greatest Africa if you would prefer to fly directly from Eastgate to Cape Town).
