Day 1-3

Welcome to the Nosy Be archipelago! Upon your arrival at Fascene International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred by car to Hell City, where you will board a boat to Tsara Komba Lodge. You will spend the next three nights on Nosy Komba, renowned as the most beautiful island in the Nosy Be archipelago and often referred to as 'lemur Island.' This eco-paradise promotes a lifestyle described as life-in-the-slow-lane, providing you with the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax.
For those seeking adventure, various activities are available, including scuba diving, snorkeling, guided hikes and visits to local villages. Please note that all activities are optional and at the client's expense. Equipment for snorkeling, beach volleyball, beach racket ball, badminton, frisbees, canoe trips, reading materials, and parlour games are free of charge at the main lodge or on the beach.

Day 4
Andasibe Hotel and Night Walk
Andasibe Hotel and Night Walk
After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, check out of the Tsara Komba Hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Antananarivo. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the airport and then head to Andasibe, passing through the lush, green vegetation of the eastern region. This leg of the journey takes you to the humid part of the country, characterized by primary forests and lakes, along with landscapes featuring rice fields, waterfalls and sparsely forested areas. Along the way, you will see the villages of the Merina people scattered throughout the rocky mountainsides.
Upon arrival in Andasibe, check in to your hotel. After 7:00pm, enjoy a night walk in the Andasibe area to observe nocturnal lemurs and other nighttime wildlife. Return to the hotel for the night.
If your flight arrives too late to participate in the night walk, it will be scheduled for the following evening.

Day 5
Perinet Special Reserve
Perinet Special Reserve
After breakfast, we will visit the Perinet Special Reserve, where you can explore the diverse species that inhabit the forest. Your guide will specifically look for the Indri Indri, the largest lemurs on the island. This 810-hectare reserve is distinguished by its unique endemic flora and fauna. It features a wide variety of orchids, a rich canopy, and native animals such as chameleons, tenrecs and numerous bird species.
Following our exploration, we will head to the orchid garden before returning to our hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the V.O.I.M.M.A Community Reserve, which promotes sustainable practices to protect the remaining rainforests in the area while providing livelihoods for local communities through reforestation projects.
You will encounter a variety of wildlife here, including brown lemurs, Indri lemurs, chameleons, geckos and various birds.

Day 6
Antananarivo

After breakfast, we will return to Tana, stopping for lunch at the Reptile & Butterfly Farm (lunch is at your own expense). The capital of Madagascar, known as the City of Thousands, is where the first king began to unify the island's various kingdoms. We will take a short orientation tour of the city before arriving at our hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 7

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred back to Ivato Airport for your two-hour flight to Fort Dauphin, located on the southeastern coast of Madagascar. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your guide and enjoy lunch in Fort Dauphin before heading west towards the Antandroy Spiny Forest. (Please note that a charter flight from Fort Dauphin is available at an additional cost.)
The three-hour journey will take you through a variety of landscapes, starting from the rice paddies of the eastern seaboard, moving over the lush tropical plateau, and transitioning into the drier, arid region of sisal plantations and spiny forest. You will arrive at your luxury tented camp in the late afternoon, allowing you time to settle into your accommodation and enjoy the stunning views across the Mandrare River.

Day 8

Start your day with a relaxed breakfast by the riverbank before heading to the sacred Antandroy Spiny Forest. You will cross the river on foot to observe lemurs and various bird species. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to see the tombs of the Antandroy ancestors while your guide provides an in-depth explanation of their culture and beliefs about ancestor worship.
Lunch will be served at your campsite, and you will have time to unwind before participating in an afternoon activity or simply enjoying the peacefulness of the river.
Activity options include visiting the giant sand dunes of Lake Anony, watching the sunset at the baobabs, going on night walks through the gallery and spiny forests, observing different species of lemurs and birds, enjoying traditional dances or visiting a local village or school.

Day 9

Today will be spent enjoying various activities available at and around your luxury tented accommodation. These activities will be suggested by your guide and tailored to your interests. To avoid the heat of the day, activities from the camp will take place in the early mornings and late afternoons. There are several designated forest areas nearby where you can explore, accompanied by your guide and with permission from one of the local village chiefs. This unique and fascinating natural paradise awaits your discovery.

You will drive back to Fort Dauphin and then continue to the airport for your flight to Antananarivo, where you will proceed on your journey home.
