Begin the day with breakfast at your hotel in Kigali before meeting your driver-guide for a safari briefing. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial for a meaningful tribute to the victims of the 1994 genocide. Afterward, drive across the border into Uganda toward Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Gorilla Tracking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a safety briefing. You’ll be guided by an experienced ranger into the forest in search of a gorilla family. The trek can last several hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. Once located, you’ll spend a magical hour observing them in their natural environment. Return to the lodge to relax.
