At your hotel in Kigali Rwanda after a leisurely breakfast, your professional safari guide driver with a vast knowledge of Rwanda Uganda trips meets and greets you. Shortly after a safari briefing about the 3-day gorilla tracking Mgahinga Gorilla, you will visit the Kigali Genocide Museum to pay your last respects to the victims of the 1994 Rwandan genocide against Tutsi. A visit to this genocide lasts for an hour and a half to two and this will be followed by a transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Uganda. Your overnight stay will be at Travelers Rest Hotel or similar.

Gorilla Tracking Experience Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you'll transfer to the ranger station for a briefing on dos and don’ts while you will be interacting with gorillas. Afterward, you will be accompanied by a senior ranger guide and hike into the forest in search of gorillas. Once you find them, you will be allowed to stay with them for an hour. After the experience, you will return to the lodge. Your overnight stay will be at Travelers Rest Hotel or similar.
