Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA), you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. Please provide your flight details in advance, as the collection time will depend on your arrival.

Day 2

Your journey begins with a transfer from Victoria Falls to the Kazungula border, where a Botswana guide will meet you. Start the day with a morning game-viewing cruise on the Chobe River, with tea, coffee, and biscuits served on board. Around 12:30 pm, enjoy lunch at a riverside hotel before setting out on an afternoon game drive in Chobe National Park, home to elephants, predators, and abundant wildlife.

After the safari, return to the Kazungula border for your transfer back to Victoria Falls, arriving around 5:30 pm.

Note: Depending on wildlife activity, the order of the cruise and game drive may be reversed.

After your check-out at 8:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel for a guided tour of Victoria Falls. This walk takes you through parts of the Rainforest to the precipice opposite the massive cascade, offering unencumbered views of the main falls. Prepare to witness the raw power of nature in a spectacle you’ll remember for a lifetime.

After about 3 hours exploring this natural wonder, you will be transferred from Victoria Falls town to Hwange National Park. Our guides will assist with check-in at Hwange Safari Lodge, where you will enjoy lunch before your afternoon game drive. Hwange is famous for its huge tuskers—impressive old bulls with massive ivory—and for the Presidential Herd, which gathers at watering holes like Ivory’s, especially around the lush Sikumi Vlei.

You will embark on a full-day game drive to experience Hwange’s superb wildlife. Setting out early in the morning and again in the late afternoon—when animals are most active—you’ll have the best chance of memorable sightings. During the heat of midday, when wildlife rests, a packed lunch will be served at a scenic picnic site in the bush.

Hwange ranks among Africa’s top national parks for size, diversity, and abundance of game. It is home to lion, leopard, rhino, and buffalo, as well as some of the continent’s largest elephant herds. In the expert hands of our guides, you’ll traverse acacia-fringed vleis and teak forests in search of Hwange’s Big Five. In the morning, you will be transferred to Matobo National Parks for 2 nights at Matobo Hills Lodge on a fully inclusive basis. Upon arrival, you will have lunch at the lodge. In the evening, you will have dinner at the lodge. Matobo Hills Lodge is situated within a private wildlife reserve bordering Matobo National Park (50km from Bulawayo). Matobo hills is an area of exquisite beauty. The lodge's accommodation units are built upon a granite outcrop with sweeping panoramic views over the surrounding hills. Please note that you can choose what to do for the afternoon but it all comes at an extra cost.

After breakfast, set out on your Matopo adventure. Covering 423 sq km, Matopo National Park is home to around 3,000 San (Bushman) rock art paintings, some dating back over 15,000 years. The day begins with a morning hike to view these remarkable ancient artworks. You’ll then visit the historic grave of Cecil John Rhodes, after whom Zimbabwe—known as Rhodesia until 1979—was once named.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive combined with a guided walking safari in search of the park’s resident black and white rhinos, all under the expert guidance of your professional safari guide.
