4-Day Tarangire/Ngorongoro/Serengeti Mid-Range Safari

Tarangire National Park

On this day, you will be collected at the airport or hotel and drive directly to Tarangire National Park. It will take you approximately two hours to reach the park entry gate. Tarangire is well known as the home of elephants. The safari game drive will start from the main gate from where you will observe impalas, giraffes, zebras, etc. Your guide will lead you to the Tarangire River where an abundance of elephants are commonly seen. Proceed with a game drive until the afternoon when you will have lunch at the picnic site on the top of the Tarangire River. Go on an afternoon game drive and then drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro

Today you will have an almost full-day game drive in Central Serengeti, searching for the rest of the Big 5 and other animals. Serengeti National Park is a wide park of almost 15,000 sq. km. Every side of the park has its seasonal visit depending on the months of the year due to the migrating animals. We will have our morning game drive, picnic lunch in the wilderness, after lunch drive back to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Crater Tour/Arusha/Airport

Have an early breakfast and then proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater. After check-in at the gate, descend 600 meters to the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is a self-dependent ecosystem, home of carnivores, antelopes, and herbivores. If lucky, you may see the Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo) in Ngorongoro. At Magadi Lake, several waterbirds are found including beautiful flamingoes, herons, pelicans, etc. The Lerai Forest is home to baboons and monkeys, elephants, bushbucks, waterbucks, and even leopards.

Picnic lunch in the crater, after lunch drive to Arusha then to airport for departure.
