Early at 4:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam. You will start a drive and have a hot breakfast at the Msolwa Hotel on the way to Mikumi. After having your breakfast, you will make your way to Mikumi National Park. This safari will be till 11:00 am. After arriving, you will make a game drive then you'll have your lunch at the park while enjoying the good view of the animals across the flood plains. You'll have a sunset game drive then drive to your accommodation inside the park at Mikumi New Bandaz.

You'll start before breakfast at 6:00 am with a sunrise game drive with the chance to spot the killings or predation. The game will extend to 8:30 am with a stop for breakfast. Later, you'll advance with a half-day game drive across the Mikumi Flood Plains.

The park hosts a large number of the big game that covers four members of the African Big Five only missing rhinos. Mikumi is home to large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, leopards, lions, Sable antelopes, great kudu, and many more. Birds are one of the key attractions in Mikumi National Park, the park has over 400 bird species with both permanent habitats and migratory birds.

Lunch will be served on the way back to Dar es Salaam at Morogoro Hotel. You will be in Dar es Salaam at 7:30 pm.
This will be the end of your two-day safari in Mikumi.
