Day 1

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will meet your safari representative for a short briefing about your upcoming adventure. Then, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive through the picturesque Maasai plains. Upon arrival, embark on your game drive through this beautiful park, renowned for its majestic ancient baobab trees, tree-climbing pythons, and the largest population of African elephants in northern Tanzania. Tarangire is also home to an abundance of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and various antelope species, along with an impressive variety of birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park before continuing your afternoon game drive, exploring more of Tarangire’s diverse landscapes and wildlife. Later in the afternoon, drive to Karatu, where you’ll arrive in time for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro conservation area for a crater descend, for a full day game drive with a picnic lunch midday at the base of the crater. One of the 8th Wonder of the World, the crater is a very important refuge for a variety of wildlife. Most commonly seen are big bulls of elephants and the vulnerable species of black rhinos. The crater is also home to big herds of wildebeest and zebras, thomson and grant gazelles, hippopotamus, African cape buffalos, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black backed jackals, and close to 400 species of bird. Then at the late afternoon you will drive out all the way to the hotel in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day safari in Lake Manyara National Park, carrying picnic lunches for the day’s adventure. Nestled along the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a stunning park renowned for its lush evergreen forests and diverse wildlife. As you explore, keep your eyes open for olive baboons, blue monkeys and large elephant families moving gracefully through the woodlands. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, as well as leopards and African Cape buffaloes that roam its varied habitats. At midday, enjoy your picnic lunch in one of the park’s scenic spots before continuing your game drive into the open woodlands and lakeshores, where you may encounter giraffes, hippos and the striking pink flocks of flamingos that gather along the lake’s edge. In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha.
