Day 6
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
On this day, you will have a full day of game drives in the park. You and your guide will decide the game drive pattern of your preference among three practical options. You may decide to leave for an early morning game drive, then return for a late breakfast, and later leave for another game drive with a picnic lunch, before returning for dinner. The second option is to leave after breakfast, return for a hot lunch, then depart for an afternoon game drive, returning to the camp for dinner. The other option is to leave after breakfast with a picnic lunch, then return in the late evening (the last option will give you an opportunity to explore scenes that are far from your accommodation, for example, the migrating herds, because you will not have a time limit).
There will be no shortage of animal sightings as the presence of permanent mud pools and shade attracts giraffes, impalas, warthogs, and hippos. You might also catch a glimpse of cheetahs, hyenas and jackals.
