Your safari adventure begins after breakfast as you head to Lake Manyara National Park, a jewel of scenic woodlands, grasslands, and swamps. Famous for its flamingos and over 350 bird species, this park is also home to elephants, buffalos, giraffes, impalas, hippos, and the rare tree-climbing lions.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park before continuing your game drive through lush vegetation, where troops of baboons and blue monkeys inhabit the tall trees of the groundwater forest. As the day winds down, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, set off for a full-day adventure in the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called the “8th Wonder of the World.” Once a towering volcano, the crater now stretches over 102 square miles, with walls rising 2,000 feet above the floor.
Descend into this self-contained ecosystem, where sightings of the endangered black rhino, lions, elephants, and other wildlife are common. Stop for a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, then continue exploring Lake Magadi, home to flamingos, hippos, and a variety of birdlife.
Return to Marera Valley Lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s second-largest park. Along the way, enjoy glimpses of local life in the countryside. Tarangire is famed for its ancient baobab trees, some over 1,000 years old, and its wildlife-rich riverine areas.
Spend the day on game drives, focusing on the Tarangire River, where animals congregate and a wide variety of birds can be observed. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your safari adventure through its scenic landscapes.
