Arusha City – Tarangire National Park

After pick up from Arusha, you'll have a meet and greet with your driver-guide in Arusha. After a brief introduction, you will proceed to Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunches. After the game drive, you will proceed to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons.

Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll collect lunch boxes and then proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Today, you will visit one of the seven wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater, created when a huge volcano erupted two million years ago. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, the crater has the highest concentration of animals than anywhere in Africa, and the crater has the highest concentration of animals than anywhere in Africa. After the game drive, you will proceed to Serengeti National Park for dinner and an overnight stay.

The crater is world largest caldera which was formed after the explosion which occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago, the crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level, the area has around 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds.

Today, you will have a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park, you will continue exploring the Serengeti plains trying to spot wildlife with the help of your Guide.

Serengeti is a park located in northern Tanzania and is a world heritage site occupying the area of around 15,000 square kilometers, with over 2 million herbivores, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and some 500 bird species. This area is home to massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. However, the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife, including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile, and the rare oribi antelope.
