Proceed to Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi-Mombasa road. The morning drive is via a typical African savannah country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Maasai herdsmen grazing their cattle. You will arrive in time for lunch and later venture into the park for the scheduled afternoon game-viewing drive.
You will spot the free-ranging herds of elephants up close in the park and see why the park is the best place in Africa to spot such herds. It is home to many other animal species such as the Cape buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, spotted hyena, Maasai giraffe, zebra, and blue wildebeest among other African animals. Birdlife is also abundant, both large and small species. Weather permitting, Amboseli National Park offers a beautiful vista of the scenic snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro which makes it a perfect site for photography. It is the tallest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Dinner and overnight are at the lodge.

Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha - Approx 350km (7 hrs drive)
Have an early breakfast and then check out and proceed to Naivasha with a lunch break in Nairobi. Thereafter, proceed with a brief stop at the scenic Great Rift Valley viewpoint.
The Great Rift Valley stretches from the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon which is in Asia to Mozambique in southeast Africa. It’s a series of contiguous geographic trenches, approximately 6,800 kilometers (4,300 miles) in total length. Much of it is found in Kenya, where it has literally cut the country in two. The shores host abundant birdlife including pelicans, cormorants, and fish-eagles with their haunting cry. There are more animals per acre than in any other Kenyan park, hence many film companies have been to the island to film the herds of wildebeest, waterbuck, zebra, buffalo, and gazelle.
Go on an optional visit by boat to the hidden gem, Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, which is surrounded by water (it is actually a peninsula). The cost is $ 60 per person.
Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.
